GALAMEDIA - Ajang penghargaan MTV Video Music Awards 2021 (MTV VMAs 2021) sukses digelar pada 12 September 2021, di Barclays Center Brooklyn, New York pada Minggu 12 September 2021.Acara tersebut dipandu oleh Doja Cat.
MTV VMAs 2021 tahun ini begitu meriah dengan kehadiran banyak musisi. Sebut saja Camila Cabello, Chlöe, Jack Harlow, Justin Bieber, Kacey Musgraves, The Kid Laroi, Lil Nas X, Machine Gun Kelly, Olivia Rodrigo, Ozuna, Shawn Mendes, Tainy, Twenty One Pilots, dan Jennifer Lopez yang memberikan penampilan yang cemerlang di awal acara, memberi penghormatan kepada MTV yang berusia 40 tahun.
Selain penampilan spesial dari para musisi yang telah disebutkan diatas, tentu pengumuman para penerima penghargaan MTV VMAs 2021 juga menjadi momen yang paling ditunggu. Sebanyak 22 penghargaan akan diberikan kepada musisi dengan karya terbaiknya yang rilis sepanjang tahun ini.

Olivia Rodrigo menjadi penyanyi pertama yang memenangkan penghargaan malam itu untuk kategori Push Performance of the Year. Selain itu, ada juga Billie Eilish yang memenangkan kategori Video For Good untuk lagunya "Your Power".
